A unique antique skeletonized pocket-watch conversion by ZENITH, reference "GALAXIE" — an exceptional one-of-a-kind piece, crafted entirely by hand and existing as a single example. Every second is precious; with this watch, even more so.
The heart of the timepiece is an antique mechanical movement by the premier Swiss manufacture ZENITH. A comprehensive artistic hand-skeletonization was carried out in a celestial, space-inspired style. Following skeletonization, every component was dressed, deburred, re-finished and rhodium-plated; the screws were blued.
The hand-crafted skeletonized dial features magnificent guilloché work. Elegant gilt hands.
The movement is housed in a newly made case of noble 316L stainless steel, 48 mm in diameter excluding the crown, fitted with a exhibition caseback affording a full view of the precision mechanical movement.
These watches have undergone a full service overhaul and keep excellent time.
This is a unique hand-crafted work requiring approximately 440 hours of master craftsmanship. It represents a perfect union of Swiss engineering and artistic watchmaking, united in one unrepeatable piece.
The watch is fitted with a Prestige strap in genuine crocodile leather.
Supplied in a gift lacquered wooden box.
