Watch Care

Atelièr Pryimak

Congratulations!
You are now the owner of a unique mechanical timepiece created at Atelièr Pryimak.
To ensure your timepiece serves you reliably for many years to come, we recommend following the guidance below.
Initial start-up
After receiving your timepiece, we recommend allowing it to rest undisturbed for several hours at normal room
temperature (approximately 4–5 hours), so that it can settle after transit.
Daily winding
Mechanical timepieces should ideally be wound approximately once a day, preferably at the same time
each day.
Turn the crown slowly and smoothly. Stop winding when you feel a natural resistance.
Do not over-wind the timepiece, as this may damage the mainspring.
Resting position at night
If you are not wearing the timepiece overnight, we recommend storing it in a horizontal position with the
dial facing upwards.

Setting the time

When setting the time, always turn the hands in the clockwise direction only.
Turning the hands anti-clockwise may damage certain antique movements.
Nail-Set system
On certain vintage models of the "Nail-Set" type, the time is set using a small push-button.

In this case:

1. do not pull out the crown
2. press the small button on the case
3. turn the crown to set the time.

Always set the hands in the clockwise direction.

Protecting your timepiece

To maximise the longevity of your timepiece, we recommend:

● protecting the timepiece from impacts and drops
● avoiding strong vibrations and shocks
● keeping the timepiece away from magnetic fields
● avoiding exposure to moisture or water (unless the timepiece is rated as water-resistant)
● avoiding contact with chemical substances
● avoiding sudden changes in temperature.

Servicing

Like any mechanical instrument, mechanical timepieces require regular maintenance.
We recommend having your timepiece professionally serviced approximately every 3–5 years to maintain the correct
functioning of the movement.
Should you have any questions or require a service, please do not hesitate to contact us.
