The "Rolex Chronos" project began with a visit to our atelier by a collector of vintage timepieces — a long-standing client who had previously acquired one of our unique watches. During that visit he showed us a small vintage Rolex movement with Incabloc that he had kept for many years. The moment we laid eyes on it, we were instantly captivated by its beauty and historical significance. We bought it without hesitation.

Our entire team then set to work with great care and deliberation. We wanted to breathe new life into this exceptional movement, preserve its authenticity, and imbue it with deeper meaning. In searching for the ideal design, we created several concepts, thought through every detail with rigour, and presented 3–4 variants before arriving at the final form.

The central motif became Chronos — the ancient Greek god of time, embodying the inevitability of time's passage and the mortality of man. The silver figure of Chronos was crafted with meticulous care: the god sits upon a throne with wings upon his back, holding an hourglass in his right hand and a scythe in his left. His left foot rests upon a skull — a symbol of time's dominion over all living things.

The watch case was made entirely from silver and engraved by hand. The dial is adorned with enamel work, gold plating, and diamonds. Seventeen specialists contributed to the project: watchmakers, casters, engravers, enamellers, goldsmiths, and artists — each bringing their skill to bear in creating a true work of art.

The "Rolex Chronos" project took approximately 9–10 months and stands as an embodiment of exceptional craftsmanship and philosophical depth. These timepieces represent a precious collector's piece for every devotee of haute horlogerie.
